Gillingham is part of the beautiful Blackmore Vale, around five miles from Shaftesbury. Established by the Saxons, with historic links to royalty and artists, it’s now one of the fastest growing towns in the south west, with handy connections to the A303 trunk road and trains to
London and Exeter.

St Martin’s House is built on the site of a 19th century house that showcased the local brick and tile industry. The building includes several architectural features celebrating this important local heritage.
