Overview

Situated towards the east and south of Dorset 

Christchurch is part of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council, however, parts of the constituency fall under Dorset Council responsibility. 

The constituency contains the main towns of: 

  • Christchurch
  • Highcliffe
  • Ferndown

Within this Parliamentary Constituency Area there are:

  • 4 libraries:
    • 2 owned and run by Dorset Council
    • 2 run by BCP 

There are also 25 Schools of which:

  • 17 Primary (7 Dorset Council, 10 BCP) 
  • 2 Middle schools (both Dorset Council)
